The only real negative about Death Parade is that there is only a single season. This is one of those shows that as soon as you have finished the first season you will be left wanting more. However, if you’ve already watched the show you will recognise the episode as the plot closely mirrors that of the first episode.

Out of all the anime about gambling, Kakegurui hits the nail right on the head. The whole Netflix series is based on the gambling manga series written by Homura Kawamoto and has cemented itself as one of the most popular gambling series.

The story is set in Hyakkaou Private Academy, a high school where pupils are evaluated solely on their gambling skills. Odd as this is, the academy’s goal is to produce future leaders and professionals based solely on their ability to beat their peers in various gambling games. Students bring their own money to the school and eventually triumph or get ruined and become subjugated to the rest.

In an even more bizarre twist of fates, any pupil who fails to shoot up through the hierarchy becomes known as a “house pet” in Kakegurui. This is where Yumeko Jabami comes in, a beautiful first-year transfer school girl who carries a dark secret. She hasn’t joined Hyakkaou for gain or social status. She’s a compulsive gambler who gets genuine pleasure from gambling.

To Yumeko, it doesn’t matter what form of gambling comes in and how big of a risk she takes. She just wants to keep playing and it’s that passion for games of chance that puts her in a position where she threatens the established school hierarchy. Seeing an enemy in her face, the student council tries to shut her down, but Yumeko has way too many tricks up her sleeve.

Tense and dynamic, Kakegurui is, without a doubt, this is the best gambling anime on Netflix you can watch right now. The show has produced two exceptional seasons already. The franchise also got a live-action adaptation in 2018 which re-adapted the story of the manga.

FAKE TYPE: GAME OF DICE

This anime revolves around one specific format of gambling. And let’s just say that this is just the beginning of the show.

The anime goes on to tell you about the dice that get rolled around on the board. It is a music video so we can’t expect much from the installment altogether.

However, since the animation of the music video is quite aesthetic, I think it deserves your attention for sure.

It focuses on a character who seems to have a lot of cues of gambling going on above his head.

Kakegurui is an anime mini-series that is all about the art of gambling. The only 12 episodes of Homura Kawamoto’s “Kakegurui-Compulsive Gambler” anime, which aired from July 1 to September 23, 2017, were available online.

Kakegurui has multiple themes like most Anime, including psychological, mystery, drama, and gambling.

The plot takes you to a unique high school known as Hyakkaou Private School. This strange school evaluates students based on their ability to gamble.

Students compete in several gambling-themed games as a learning exercise to raise professionals, captains of industry and future leaders.

Each gambling battle sees students bet with their own money, with the winner claiming the loser’s bankroll while the losing student is left to bear the humiliation.

The main protagonist in Kakegurui is Yumeko Jabami, a pretty student and compulsive gambler. While other students are not too keen on gambling, she, on the other hand, absolutely loves gambling.

Her love for gambling gets the attention of the school hierarchy, who would stop at nothing to curb her ways, as it goes against the whole ethos of the institution. This Netflix Anime is the best example of the gambling niche in Anime.
